The Down & Dirty newsletter is downloadable from this site in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF). This is a proprietary format that requires you to use Adobe's PDF reader.
The Adobe Acrobat PDF reader is a free download. If you do not already have it installed on your PC, you must download it from www.adobe.com. There is a free reader for this purpose. No purchase is necessary. It comes in both MAC and PC versions.
Once Adobe Acrobat is installed, you should have no trouble viewing and printing (in color) the Down & Dirty Newsletters.
Download the newsletter by clicking on the link on the main page. If given a choice between "save as" or "execute this file" either way should work... but saving the file will leave a permanent copy on your hard drive. This is easier if you want to view or print the newsletter another time, however the files are large, and keeping too many of them on your drive could use up your disk space.
Rarely, very rarely, people have trouble printing the newsletter from Acrobat Reader. This is always due to one of three causes. (1) Not enough memory in your computer (2) Not enough spare space on your hard drive or (3) An out of date printer driver for your computer. The solution to the first two causes is straightforward. For the latest printer drivers, go to the website for your printer brand.
