Hendricks County Master Gardener Training Classes

Classes are held at Hendricks County 4h Fairgrounds and Conference Complex
Classes cover topics such as:

  • Plant Science
  • Soil Science
  • Plant Disease Diagnosis & Control
  • Insect ID & Control
  • Weed ID & Control
  • Wildlife Control
  • Pesticide Safety
  • Woody Ornamentals
  • Vegetable Gardening
  • Herbaceous Ornamentals
  • Home Lawn Care
  • Native Plants

There is a one time fee for the class materials. The fee for 2016 is $120.00.  Committing to volunteer service as a Master Gardener is required for class registration.

Hendricks County's Master Gardener Classes for 2016 started on Thursday January 7th and are held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m..

Registration for 2016 is closed. If you are potentially interested in 2017 classes let us know via our contact form or contact the extension office directly to be advised by email when registration is available.

 

Completing the Master Gardener Class is the first step toward being certified as a Master Gardener.
